ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Paula Nizamas earned
a Master degree in Fine Arts in 1999. She has worked as a
book designer, illustrator and as an artist. In 1985, Paula
received her first award for the artwork “Peace” at
International Young Artists’ Competition in
Moscow. She was also awarded for the artwork “The
Crying”, 1st. place, at 54 Gallery So-Ho,
NY (International Fine Art Competition) . Since 1996
Paula has worked as an illustrator for book and magazine
publishers and as an artist creating paintings, drawings and
etchings on stone and zinc. Her artworks were showcased at
Book Expo America 2001, in
Chicago at McCormick Place. Since 2003, Carus
Publishing has published Paula’s artworks in several
publications. Paula is a member of SCBWI (Society of
Children's Book Writers & Illustrators), since 2000.
Karenas Nizamas
studied at Private School of Fine Arts form 1979 to 1982.
Later, from 1982 to 1986 Karenas attended the College of
Fine Arts. From 1988 to 1990 the artist continued his
studies at the University of Arts. Since 1994 Karenas has
participated at several group and solo exhibitions. During
this time his paintings received attention from media and
art critics. Several of Karenas paintings appeared in
newspapers and on TV News channels in
Europe.

Founded in 1991, Anatomically Correct is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to showcasing works by artists in alternative spaces in a combined effort to educate, diversify, and promote community awareness of the visual and performing arts.
