Getting in touch with his feminine side, Barry's series of dramatic flower paintings explore light and dark, warm and cool tones through heavily saturated colors of emerald green and sunrise orange against a black background.

Originally from New York State, Barry spends the majority of his time throughout the year in Chicago, Upstate New York and California. Barry's work is influenced by artists Mark Rothko and Andy Warhol.

Barry Grose is largely a self-taught artist, although he studied briefly at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Barry holds a degree from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York.
