Artist's Statement

Men fascinate me. Each man holds his own particular sum of masculine aspects that create his own individual personae. The sum of these qualities creates a subtle yet fascinating tension between the inner soul of the man and the social world in which we live. Each of these qualities is carefully cultivated although often subconsciously. This male-ness is the root of my attraction. My work is a celebration and investigation of the young man.
