BIOGRAPHY

Betty has worked in many different media, using oils, acrylics, linocuts, etchings and mixed media.  She is now making impressionistic and abstract oils on canvas, using piece of mat board and a palette knife.

Betty received a B.A. from the University of Illinois in Champaign and an M.A. from the University of Chicago.   She has also studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and attended Creative Art Studies in Lucca, Italy.

Her work has been exhibited at the Polish Arts Museum in Chicago, the Beverly Art Center and the James R. Thompson Center.    She is a member of the Artisan Shops in Illinois and has work on the cover of a textbook by Burnham Publishing, Inc., in Chicago.
